With unrivalled panoramic views of the sea, premium facilities, complimentary refreshments, dedicated table service and much more, we guarantee a quality and relaxing service.   We are now looking for enthusiastic people to join our Passenger Operations team for the summer season in the role of Signature Lounge Crew, who is passionate about providing courteous and efficient customer care. Joining our team on board, you will deliver the smooth running of this enhanced offer against one of the most beautiful backdrops in the world, by greeting customers, checking them in and attentively serving to their needs throughout the journey to ensure a first-class experience. You will also become a vital part of the operation as a member of the ship’s crew, taking care of our passengers’ safety and being able to respond in an emergency.   As someone with experience in front of house environments, you will be able to provide an outstanding level of service to our customers in the Signature Lounge, with a charismatic and polished demeanour. When the lounge is not in use, you will also be able to offer the same level of service across other areas of the ship.   We offer excellent training, a life changing experience and a full benefits package to the applicants who impress us with their first-class customer service skills and all-round enthusiasm to develop in this stimulating field.   What are we looking for in a candidate?   *         Enthusiasm and passion *         Experience in delivering first class customer service *         Experience in a front of house hospitality environment *         Excellent teamwork skills *         A desire to succeed *         A safety conscious mindset *         The ability to work well under pressure *         Exceptional timekeeping and reliability   Working Conditions:   *         This is a 41 hours per week fixed term contract, working a rolling 4 on 4 off working pattern. *         Primarily based afloat on any one of the company’s car ferries (Red Falcon, Red Osprey, Red Eagle). *         All shifts will start and finish in Southampton in accordance with the Signature Lounge opening times. *         Length of shifts will vary from 9.25 hours to 12.25 hours. *         Employee’s may occasionally be required to work in other areas of the business. *         A flexible approach to work and shift patterns is required.   What benefits are included?   *         Free foot travel/ subsidised vehicle travel on our ferries – great for heading to the island, relaxing on the beach and exploring the stunning scenery! *         75% off South West Trains – gig in London? This is a new and exciting opportunity for you to work alongside a fantastic team and become a vital part of the operation as a member of the ship’s crew! Payroll Specialist

If that sounds like you, we’d love you to join our team.   We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our HR team on an 18 month fixed term contract - maternity cover. The successful candidate will be highly organised and detail-orientated with a deep understanding of payroll compliance regulations as well as sound knowledge and experience of using payroll systems to optimise all payroll processes to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of this function for the organisation. . The main duties of the role are: Manage the end-to-end internal payroll process, including querying data received, calculation and distribution of payslips in compliance with the tax regulations. Ensure compliance with legislation, including PAYE (Pay As You Earn) taxes, National Insurance Contributions, and other statutory requirements including but not limited National Minimum Wage, GDPR etc. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records relating to payroll transactions using the payroll and HR system as well as internal databases. Generate and submit required reports as required by HR Director to regulatory authorities such as HMRC, assist in the submission of the Gender Pay Gap reporting requirements as well as generating the monthly finance reports, overtime, sickness and headcount reports. Oversee the payroll system and software to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with regulations as well as ensuring operational compatibility; collaborating internally as required. Co-ordinate with the wider HR team to ensure accurate administration of employee benefits, including but not limited to pensions, private medical insurance, and family-friendly related benefits. Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from colleagues or line managers. providing clear, timely and appropriate communications to colleagues regarding changes to payroll processes, policies or deadlines in accordance with employment law in collaboration with our internal communications teams. Working Conditions: The role is based on a Monday to Friday work pattern. The role is based at Head Office in Southampton. There is the opportunity to participate in hybrid working or at other locations across the business. Qualifications / Experience Required: The ideal candidate will hold a qualification from The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) and at minimum a Payroll Technician Certificate. A minimum of 5 years experience in a payroll function in a medium size organisation or bigger. Knowledge / Experience Required: Several years of experience in UK payroll processing In-depth knowledge of UK payroll regulations and compliance requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in UK payroll software and related tools, including Excel Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
