We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Cleaning Operative to join the team here at Red Funnel on a Permanent basis at 15 hours per week. This role is based in our Head Office in Southampton and includes cleaning of the Team Accommodation although you may be asked to cover any of the cleaning locations.

Working closely with your colleagues you will be tasked with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness: your role is primarily to keep locations looking in tip top condition. You will have an eye for detail, can-do attitude and be used to working in public locations where customer interaction is inevitable. Above all your positive attitude will shine through.

In brief, duties include but are not limited to:

• General cleaning
• Vacuuming
• Washing & polishing surfaces
• Toilet cleaning & emptying public area bins

* Handling and organising laundry deliveries

This role will primarily work on a rotating shift pattern covering five of seven days of the week. The role purposely has middle of the day start and finish times to accommodate cleaning duties. Housekeeping experience appreciated but not essential, training is provided.
