We are seeking a proactive and analytically minded Commercial Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12 month Fixed Term basis. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you’ll play a key role in supporting commercial decision‑making across the business, providing clearer insights, stronger controls, and high‑quality financial analysis that drives performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal posting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide meaningful insights into performance, costs, revenue drivers, and profitability.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and modelling to support business planning.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with financial controls across key areas.
• Providing financial support for projects, business cases and investment decisions.
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in reporting, processes, and systems.

About you

• Part‑qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with strong commercial awareness.
• Confident analysing data, identifying trends, and communicating insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
• A positive team player with an organised, proactive approach and keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Ambitious, curious and eager to develop—this is a role with real exposure and learning opportunities.
