We have a vacancy for a part-time HR Advisor to join our small, friendly and busy HR team on a fixed term basis. The successful candidate will provide responsive, high quality, proactive & legally compliant advice to Line Management in all generalist areas of Human Resources. This includes (but not limited to) Wellbeing, Employee/Line Management advice & guidance, Absence Management, Performance Management and Change Management.
Main duties include:
Employee Relations casework - conduct, capability, grievances, probationary reviews and performance management.
Advice and guidance on absence management - long and short-term sickness, flexible working and sabbaticals.
Developing the Wellbeing programme across the business to ensure it remains high on our agenda.
The potential to create, develop and maintain HR practices & policies, to support our People strategy may also be required.
What we’re looking for:
A minimum of 3 years HR generalist experience in supporting Line Managers with a range of people issues.
CIPD qualified to Level 5 minimum or relevant similar qualification.
Previous experience within a marine or service sector (though this is not essential).
A flexible, resilient & empathetic personal demeanour, demonstrating a confident & professional approach.
The position is 32 hours per week working Monday to Friday on a hybrid arrangement, offering some remote working (typically two days per week).
